How Launchpoint Guide handles contact messages and local planning tool information.
Launchpoint Guide can be browsed without an account. The host may process request information under its own privacy practices.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. If you allow it, Google receives page-view and visit information such as the page path, browser/device information and approximate location derived from the connection. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits and are configured to expire after 60 days. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals, and do not enable automatic form-interaction or site-search measurement. Our tag strips query strings and URL fragments from the page address sent to Analytics and reduces the referrer to its origin.
Your analytics choice is saved in local storage on this device. Use Analytics choices in the footer to change it. Declining leaves the directory and tools available. Withdrawing permission disables further measurement by this tag and removes its analytics cookies from this browser; it does not erase earlier information Google has already processed. If storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the current page. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics data practices.
Contact and correction messages
If you submit the contact form, Netlify processes and stores the submitted fields, including any name, email address, page address, message and source link you choose to provide. A notification is routed to the site owner's configured inbox for responding to questions and reviewing corrections. Your email is optional unless you want a reply.
Do not send passwords, financial details or other sensitive information. Messages are not published automatically. Relevant correction evidence may inform an editorial update without publishing your contact details. Contact records should be reviewed and removed when no longer needed; request removal using the contact form and identify your earlier message.
Local tool storage
The launch checklist saves choices in your browser's local storage so they remain on your device. Restore the default list to remove saved edits and progress. The fuel calculator runs in your browser. Neither planning tool sends your entries to an application server.
Sharing and external links
A shared search or checklist link may include non-sensitive choices in its URL. Review a link before sharing it. External sites, including source agencies, mapping services, LinkedIn and registrars, have their own privacy practices.
